What's been happening..

It has been a very exciting time for FEM this month, we have launched several new features on our website TotallyExpat.com as the new 'Featured Articles' section, the 'International Schools' section and a new purpose built 'Members Homepage'. We are pleased with the successful 'Short Term Business Visitors' event in London held on the 7th July and are looking forward to the launch of the Thames Valley Chapter, UK on the 14 July.

Our 14 July Thames Valley event will be a unique roundtable where corporates and vendors can meet to discuss smart strategies for reducing costs.

Monthly Networking Club - Latest trends in Global Mobility
London, August 6, 2009

The event will contain a presentation about trends in Global Mobility based upon the latest KPMG survey This event is free to all In-House Members. Service directory members are welcome to attend at a nominal cost of £100 per head (plus VAT) The format is always the same - drinks beforehand, a short technical discussion on a subject of interest to Forum members and then lots of networking afterwards.


 

Global HR News allies with the FEM


The Forum for Expatriate Management has formed a strategic alliance with Global HR News to run a series of one day conferences around the world.

We are delighted to offer a limited number of free places at our joint conferences to in-house corporate HR professionals.

We have structured each event so that there will be a minimum corporate HR attendee ratio of 55%. Further details of the programme will be annouced shortly but there will be an exciting mixture of leading corporate HR professionals as well as a number of leading industry professionals.

FEM events tend to book out well in advance and we are normally left with a waiting list. If you would like to register for a free place for these full day conferences please apply early to avoid disappointment.
