Complimentary one hour webinar:
Tuesday, March 23, 2010
10:00 am, CDT (GMT -05:00, Chicago)
03:00 pm, GMT (GMT +00:00, London)
This one hour webinar, presented by Gill Aldred, Sr.
Director, Consulting Services at Brookfield Global Relocation Services, will
provide insight and practical tips on how to build a competitive but effective
mobility programme for second and third tier cities.
As companies experience a deeper penetration into markets
such as India and China, their patterns of mobility are going beyond the first
tier cities of Beijing and Shanghai or Mumbai and Bangalore.
The lower operating costs and market potential to be found
in locations such as Chongqing in China and Pune in India are driving a trend
that has significant implications for assignment and relocation management.
During this session we will address the following challenges
associated with assignments to what have become known as second and third tier
cities:
-
The mobility policy – we will
consider the different programme elements and options required to support
assignments in these locations
-
Service delivery – we will examine
how best to deliver ‘on the ground’ services in a limited infrastructure
environment
-
Supplier management – we will
share best practice on how best to select and manage suppliers charged with
delivering those services
