AIRINC's comprehensive training program has a two-module format. The first day will focus on the fundamentals of expatriate compensation. The second day will cover more advanced material, addressing best practices in policy design and strategy. International human resources professionals or the equivalent can register to attend either or both modules.
Day One: Fundamentals of Expatriate Compensation This module explores the principles of expatriate compensation. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of how the elements of the balance sheet are determined and why these elements change. Emphasis will be placed on providing the practical knowledge required to respond to typical inquiries from expatriates and local human resources managers.
Day Two: Policy & Strategy This module builds on the Fundamentals module and explores best practices in expatriate compensation policy design and strategy. Participants will learn how to structure cost-effective policies to achieve specific mobility goals within the context of competitive practice and current trends. Emphasis will be placed on providing the tools to achieve strategic corporate mobility objectives.
